Ryo Okamoto

Ryo Okamoto received his B.Sc. in 2004, M. Sc. in 2006 and Ph.D. in 2009 from Yokohama City University under supervision of Prof. Yasuhiro Kajihara. From 2009, he joined to Stephen B. H. Kent lab at The University of Chicago as a postdoctoral fellow for Research Abroad of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. From 2010, he joined to Kajihara’s group at Osaka University as an assistant professor. His current research interest is a development of the synthetic methodologies for the chemical synthesis of proteins involving posttranslationally modified proteins.
