Fabienne Burlina 6th Modern Solid Phase Peptide Synthesis & Its Applications Symposium 2017

Fabienne Burlina

Dr. Fabienne Burlina holds a CNRS research position since 1999 and currently works in the Laboratoire des BioMolécules at the University P. et M. Curie in Paris. She has first been interested in strategies to control gene expression, introducing chemical modifications on oligonucleotides to increase their in vivo stability and affinity for their intracellular targets. Her current research focuses on the design of new cell-penetrating peptides for the delivery of bioactive compounds and on the development of methodologies based on MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry to quantify their cellular uptake and analyze their intracellular degradation. She also works on the development of ligation methodologies for the synthesis of cyclic peptides and proteins with post-translational modifications.
